This is the sound of a band in full, in the zone. The delivery is smooth and confident. So confident, in fact, they have no problem adding some violin to the arrangement. Violin, as opposed to fiddle. Done right, it’s a good thing. Done wrong and it ain’t even Country anymore. And here it’s done right; just a touch to make your ears go humm, that’s nice. The record is enjoyable and satisfying, start to finish. I don’t see any way it won’t chart Top 3/airplay.
