A Man Like Me-Randy Houser (Show Dog)

There’s a good many things to like about this one. That bass line is the same one used in “Coward Of The County” and about a half-dozen other major Country hits in the 80’s and early 90s, so right off the bat mature ears will get a hint of “one’a them songs I always liked”. The honky-tonk piano work in the bridge is cool. Randy sings it Country-proud without the put-on fakery we hear so much of these days. And it celebrates the joy of home and family. It’s all good.
