The duo got a Grammy last month for Best Country Duo/Group performance for a song they sing with Taylor Swift that’s in the soundtrack of the coming movie “The Hunger Games”, which’ll probably be a big one. That single, “Safe and Sound” has sold over half a million units now and the full soundtrack and movie have yet to be released. One of their other songs was featured in “Grey’s Anatomy” a recent while back. Their sound is more Americana than mainstream Country, so I don’t know that the chart reporters will embrace it. But the duo’s got a heavy fan-buzz. The single here has my interest.
