Well, it’s got a good beat and you can dance to it, Dick. On the other hand, you sure can’t do the two-step to this one. It’s a real fine Pop record and I like it. The prime reason it ain’t “Country” is: Cain’t unnerstan’ all th’words! Lissen, Mister Record Producer, please. Don’t cover up the words with loud instruments. It handicaps the record, makes it less potent on the Country format. And a sizeable portion of our listenership just flat-out don’t like records like this one because of it. ‘Course maybe this is just the next step in the group biddin’ us all goodbye and following Sugarland down that path away from the family that brung’em up.
