Is this the year of the Woman or what. This woman’s gotta be a star. “From A Table Away” was just excellent writing. It got Top 10, shoulda’ been Top 5. And it’s just stupid the way the big market guys didn’t see the golden nugget that was “Staying’s Worse That Leaving”, a classic country lyric. If another single comes off this album, it’ll be “Amy”. I’ve had that in the recommended Edge list since last June. If you haven’t heard it, it’s akin to Dolly’s “Jolene” only told from Jolene’s point of view. Now, back to this song. Excellent airplay single material. The relationship is in the dumpster and she’s not gonna cry about it. Not this night anyways. Got other plans. It’s up, its danceable, it begs a sing-a-long and young women, especially, can identify with it right out’a the gate.
