Considering how slow the charts are, it sure seems like this is getting an awfully late release. A song about a long hot summer should’a been released in March or April. Vacation-time is over in just eight weeks. But, that’s okay I guess ’cause this has the feel of a short-term record to me, in any case. It’s slick and poppy with all the nutrition of cotton candy.
