This here’s my favorite new record of the week. The kid looks like he’s still a linebacker on the high school team, but then he sounds like a player of a whole ‘nuther kind. He’s a writer with tracks on albums by Little Big Town, Luke Bryan and Eli Young Band. This is the first I’ve heard him sing and it do make me wanna hear more. The song is happy and hooky with wry southern boy lyrics. And it is distinctly Country.
