Still it disappoints me that “That Girl” didn’t soar. I listen to it every week and continue to appreciate how wonderful it is. Fingers crossed now for this second single off her excellent Rick Rubin produced solo album. It’s a ballad spoken from the aftermath of a break-up. But it’s not a sad one. Instead, she’s seeing new vistas, new hope. Lotta women ought to take comfort with this point of view. Jennifer sounds wonderful delivering it, too.
