I don’t recall ever hearing a ballad about neon that was, essentially happy. Usually a ballad with night clubs and neon lights in the story is essentially a sad one. Like “Neon Moon”. A happy song with clubs and neon in the lyric is always uptempo, right? Until now. This is really fine. A love song to those gas-filled tubes and how they just gen’rally improve the quality of life. Fine hook, too.
