review Smoke-A Thousand Horses (Republic Nashville)

It’s a Southern Rock record at its core; talkin’ 1970s here. Nothing wrong with that if you’re into it…which, apart from the relatively few mainstream hits the genre produced, I never much was. ‘Course it did sell a pile of albums and contributed to the growth of Album Rock Radio, so there’s that. This record’s moved into the Top 30 airplay pretty quick. Maybe something.
