I’ve heard it a dozen more times since my first review last month and it still grabs me each spin. I’d love to tell you it’s got a big chance for mainstream radio chart success, but I doubt it. Sugar Hill is one of the classiest labels but their artists don’t get airplay. The label’s made an art of making a living without it. Alison Krauss being the best example. And the label does present us with capital A Art. This is excellent. I list it here for that reason alone.
