This is a wonderful song, deeply felt and most certainly will be spiritually soothing to most anyone going through such a tribulation. But I don’t think this is a radio record. Cancer is not a thing people want to talk about. And yes, a lot of people are superstitious about it, believing just talking about it could bring it on. Once it invades our own life, either in our body of that of a loved one, it dominates our thoughts and we are on a quest to learn and to fight and we need all the support we can get. A song like this is a balm. But most people don’t have cancer, not at this moment anyway, and for them this song repeated over and over on the radio could quickly become rather uncomfortable.
